Type of Case: *

Divorce - A lawsuit that ends a marital relationship (legal or common law) between two people and includes the division of any marital property and any issues concerning the children who were born during the marriage.
Protective Order - If you are in a familial relationship in which violence or abuse has occurred, you may qualify for a protective order issued by a court to help protect you and your family.
Modifications - A lawsuit meant to change or alter an already existing order from a Divorce or SAPCR.
SAPCR - Suit Affecting the Parent/Child Relationship - An original lawsuit, normally between two people who were never married, to establish and address issues concerning children such as custody, child support, paternity, etc.
Enforcement - A lawsuit filed to enforce an already existing order from a Divorce or SAPCR when one parent isn’t following the terms of the previous order. (I.E.: not paying child support, or not allowing visitation.)
